I want to share my nearly four decades of news-gathering experience to share my love of history and writing.

Current events and history have been an interest of mine since my youth, so getting into the news business seemed to be a natural progression. Since graduating from the Broadcasting program at Niagara College in the early 80s I have been fortunate to work in a busy radio newsroom where the deadline was the top of each hour and covering and reporting on events as they happened.

My newspaper work has enabled me to write stories about people and neighborhood issues and to shine a light on subjects that might not otherwise be covered.

Through it all, I have learned a lot and I am still learning and my goal is to share what I have learned.
